The Scottish Commission for Human Rights role is to promote widespread awareness, understanding of, and respect for, human rights.
The Parliamentary corporation is seeking to appoint 2 part-time Commission members who must be able to spend 30 days per year on Commission business.
You will be a confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills who thinks strategically to challenge and influence decision making. An interest in human rights is essential.
The daily fee rate for this post is £255.02. This appointment is for a fixed term of 6 years.
The successful candidates will be expected to take up office on 1 May 2015.
The Commission is based in Edinburgh.
