Remit
This short inquiry focused on two key questions:
- What have been the challenges in better integrating health and social services in the past and are there exemplars of good practice?
- What would the detail of the Scottish Government’s proposals need to address to overcome the barriers to integration?
In considering these questions the Committee expected to present its findings to the Scottish Government as a contribution to the consultation process, and use them to scrutinise any future legislation.
