Section 23 report - Reducing reoffending in Scotland
Joint Auditor General for Scotland (AGS) and Accounts Commission report published 7 November 2012.
The Committee took oral evidence from the AGS regarding the report entitled "Reducing reoffending in Scotland" at its Committee meeting on 21 November 2012.
Following the evidence session with the AGS, the Committee immediately took oral evidence on the report from the following—
• Leslie Evans, Director-General Learning and Justice, Scottish Government;
• Colin McConnell, Chief Executive, Scottish Prison Service;
• Joe Griffin, Deputy Director, Community Justice Division, Scottish Government;
• Councillor Peter McNamara – Chair of the CJA Conveners Group;
• Howard Llewellyn – Chief Officer – Tayside CJA.
The Committte agreed to refer the report to the Justice Committee highlighting some issues raised during discussion.
