Stage 1 scrutiny by the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee
The Scottish Parliament’s Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee is seeking views on the Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Bill.
The Land Registration etc. (Scotland) Bill was introduced by the Scottish Government to the Scottish Parliament on 1 December 2011.
The Economy, Energy and Tourism has been referred the Bill as the lead committee and would like to hear the views of individuals, organisations and professional bodies. The Committee intends that evidence received will inform its consideration of the general principles of the Bill at Stage 1. All responses will be made available to the Committee unless otherwise agreed.
Timetable
The Committee intends to take evidence throughout January and February 2012 and is due to report to the Scottish Parliament by 29 February 2012.
