Review of allowances at the Scottish Parliament


The Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body announced in June 2007 that there should be a full scale review of parliamentary allowances, with a panel reporting as soon as practicable, and no later than March 2008.

Remit of the review

The review covers the three main allowance categories - the Members’ Allowances Scheme, the Party Leaders’ Allowance Scheme, and the Equipment and Furniture Scheme.
