Purpose of the group
- To act as a channel of communication between the Scottish Parliament and people and organisations working in palliative care
- To provide opportunities for Members of the Scottish Parliament to learn about palliative care needs and service, and the issues involved in palliative care provision
- To increase awareness and raise the profile of palliative care
- To put palliative care on to the agenda of the Health and Sport Committee
