The Scottish Government introduced the Public Services Reform (Scotland) Bill in the Parliament on 28 May 2009. This briefing will look at the simplification agenda of the Scottish Government (Part 1 of the Bill), the proposed order-making powers contained in Part 2 of the Bill, and the broad scrutiny obligations and proposals for corporate governance of Audit Scotland contained in Part 6 of the Bill.
