This briefing aims to assist the Economy, Energy & Tourism Committee in their inquiry into Scotland’s Economic Future Post-2014. It has been produced as supplementary material to the SPICe briefing on ‘Scotland’s economy: now and in the future’ and the Scottish Government’s ‘Scotland's Future: Your Guide to an Independent Scotland’ publication. It highlights key economic considerations for Scotland’s future under different constitutional arrangements by drawing on some of the additional papers that have been published by the Scottish Government, the UK Government and the ESRC ‘Future of UK and Scotland’ programme to inform the debate.
