A Bill for an Act of the Scottish Parliament to make provision for reducing and dealing with the abuse of alcohol; to amend the legislation in relation to applications for, and to vary, licences for the sale of alcohol; and for connected purposes.

Current Status of the Bill

This Member's Bill was introduced by Richard Simpson MSP on 1 April 2015. The Bill fell after the general principles of the Bill were not agreed to by the Parliament at its Stage 1 debate on 4 February 2016.
