A Bill for an Act of the Scottish Parliament to make provision about the composition of and appointment to the governing bodies and academic boards of higher education institutions; and to revise provision about the academic freedom of various persons carrying out activities at higher education and certain other institutions.

Scottish Government Bill introduced on 16 June 2015.

The Bill was passed by the Parliament on 8 March 2016 and received Royal Assent on 13 April 2016.
