Evidence
The Local Government and Communities Committee agreed to hold a roundtable evidence session in order to appraise itself of the key implications for Scottish local government of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union.
The decision by the United Kingdom to leave the European Union is likely to have a number of implications for Scottish local government. Whilst identifying those implications may be challenging as they will be dependent upon the terms on which the United Kingdom leaves the European Union, this initial work by the Committee will help to inform its consideration of what , if any, inquiry work it wishes to undertake.
