Stage 1 scrutiny by the Welfare Reform Committee

The Welfare Reform (Further Provision) Scotland Bill was introduced to the Parliament on 22 March 2012.

The Bill was referred to the Welfare Reform Committee as lead committee for the consideration of the general principles of the Bill.  The Committee undertook its Stage 1 scrutiny during April and May 2012, publishing its report on the Bill on 16 May 2012. 

Evidence

The Committee considered Stage 1 of the Bill during April and May 2012.

Stage 2 of the Bill took place at the Committee meeting on 13 June 2012.

The Committee issued a call for evidence on 23 March 2012.
