Invitations to UK Ministers to provide formal evidence

The Welfare Reform Committee has invited Ministers from the Department for Work and Pensions to appear before the Committee to provide information about the implementation of the Welfare Reform Act 2012. The Committee considers that such evidence is important as it carries out its work of scrutinising Scottish Government policy in relation to devolved matters and monitoring the implementation of the Welfare Reform Act in Scotland.

The Committee’s invitations have been declined to date.

The correspondence between the Committee and the DWP Ministers can be viewed below.
