The Committee’s consideration of the Bill at Consideration Stage is now complete.
Final Stage is scheduled for Thursday 26 June and will be taken at a meeting of the whole Parliament. Amendments at that Stage may be lodged by any MSP. The deadline for lodging amendments to the Bill is 4.30 pm on Monday 23 June. It is the Presiding Officer’s role to determine admissibility of amendments and to select which amendments are debated.
At its meeting on Wednesday 26 February the Committee agreed to publish a revised indicative timetable for its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Consideration Stage.
The Convener agreed to accommodate requests to reschedule oral evidence sessions and the timetable has been updated accordingly.
Subsequently, at its meeting on 7 May, the Committee agreed to publish a further revised timetable with a rescheduled meeting date for its consideration of Consideration Stage amendments.
At its meeting on 12 June the Committee expects to consider amendments lodged to the Bill at Consideration Stage, phase 2. The amendments process is set out in the following document:

Comments on amendments
At its meeting on 16 January 2014 the Committee agreed to publish a note on its approach to the scrutiny of the Bill at Consideration Stage along with a provisional list of groupings and lead objectors.
Groupings and lead objectors were finalised after 14 February.
