At the Committee's meeting on 12 December 2017, the Cabinet Secretary for Justice undertook to provide further information on the instrument.

 

 

At the Committee's meeting on 12 December 2017, the Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs undertook to provide further information on the instrument.

 

 

 

At its meeting on 3 October 29017, the Committee agreed to seek further information on the instrument from Police Scotland.

 

At the Committee's meeting on 26 September 2017, the Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs undertook to provide further information on the instrument.

 

At the Committee's meeting on 27 June 2017, the Cabinet Secretary for Justice undertook to provide the Committee with a copy of a letter sent by the Scottish Government to Rape Crisis Scotland in connection with the draft instrument.

On 3 May, the Convener wrote to the Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs in a personal capacity as the former Member in Charge of the Bill that became the Apologies (Scotland) Act 2016. Accordingly, the letter is not Committee correspondence but is being published in the interests of transparency, as it is relevant to public consideration of the instrument at the Committee’s meeting of 9 May 2017.

At its meeting on 9 May 2017 the Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Human Rights Commission seeking its views on the instrument.

Following the Committee's meeting of 9 May 2017, the Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs wrote to Former Boys and Girls Abused in Quarriers Homes (FBGA) in response to its written submission to the Committee.
