Ask the Minister: send us your questions
The cross-party Education and Skills Committee of the Scottish Parliament is holding evidence sessions in March with the three Scottish Government Ministers it is responsible for scrutinising on the following dates:
The Committee will have a focus for these sessions, for example the session on 7 March will focus mainly on widening access and the session on 21 March will look mainly at funded childcare and also care-experienced young people.
How can I get involved?
- You can send us a question you'd like Committee members to ask one of these ministers for you, on any topic in their remits. Email us at [email protected], we will also be taking questions via Twitter and Facebook as well as email (last dates for questions are the Thursday before the Q and A session).
- You can come along and watch the Q and A session, book tickets here.
- You can send us a longer submission with your views, a couple of sides of A4 at most please
- You can follow our live tweeting of the session @SP_EduSkills / watch live or recorded on Parliament TV.

The Committee has done some work on widening access before and will hear from the Commissioner for Fair Access on 21 February. The Committee has also looked at early years and skills.

The Committee heard evidence from the Minister for Early Years and Childcare and from the Auditor General Scotland. The Committee has received evidence from the Auditor General in respect of Early Learning and Childcare.
