UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill


About the Inquiry

The Scottish Government introduced the UK Withdrawal from the European Union (Legal Continuity) (Scotland) Bill on 27 February 2018. The Parliament agreed that the Bill be treated as an Emergency Bill.  Stage 1 was debated by the Parliament on 7 March and Stage 2 was taken by the Committee on 13 and 14 March with the Stage 3 debate taking place on 21 March.  The Finance and Constitution Committee agreed to issue this call for evidence to help inform the Parliament’s consideration of the Bill.


The Committee issued a call for evidence on 2 March 2018. The deadline for responses was 15 March 2018.
