Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Bill

The Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Bill was introduced by the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, Shona Robison MSP, on 23 May 2018. It makes provision about staffing by the National Health Service and by providers of care services. The stated aim of the Bill is to be an "enabler of high quality care and improved outcomes for service users in both the health service and care services by helping to ensure appropriate staffing for high quality care".

As with all bills, the Finance and Constitution Committee invites written evidence on the estimated financial implications of the Bill as set out in its accompanying Financial Memorandum (FM).

The deadline for submission was 1 August 2018. We received 11 responses and they can be found below.
