Listen, Record, Create: Parliament, a place of work

Following agreement by the SPCB, sound artists Zoë Irvine and Pippa Murphy will be based in the Scottish Parliament from July 2013 to April 2014, creating a new piece of sound art inspired by sounds and voices in the Parliament building.  The project is being funded by Creative Scotland.

They are looking to collaborate and record with many different people involved in the running of Parliament.  The artists are offering a series of workshops and informal sessions for people to get involved, which will explore the creative and practical techniques of recording, editing and composing with sound.  For more information please visit their blog

17 and 25 September

2, 8, 15, 23 and 30 October

6, 13, 20 and 27 November
